changing muffler lacation???????????
i have a 1 chamber flowmaster in the back like normal, if i were to move it in the front , in front of the cat would that make it louder, or would it not really help , i guess it would kinda be a turn down in the middle. thanks

i have the 1-cham. and the inscructions from flowmaster say to keep them towards the back for optimal sound quality and loudness. id imagine moving them towards the front might make it a little quiter but remember they will be under the car more, so it may be quiter oudside but will probably be ALOT louder in the car.... i plan on doing this also...

I'm actually working on relocating my muffler. It's a long story as to why, but it can be moved to the rear passenger seat area. The floor board comes up then back down where your butt sits. If you cut that out and weld in a flat piece of metal there it creates a whole lot of room under there.
When I get my headers installed I will then decide if I want a muffler or whether I'll dump it right before the axle.

I just saw yet another location for mufflers. How about right under the front floor pans.
