with stock heads the ls6 and a ported t/b should be just fine. if there is a set of performance heads in your future i would save up for a 90/90 set-up. didnt say fast...

Well Jay, I remember you said that you were going to turn the car more into a track car, I'm going to say the Vic Jr. It will give you a better high-RPM powerband, which will suit that cam (though maybe not the heads til they flow a bit more) the best, and you'll spend most of your time up high anyways.

pro products(pp). i have seen their work and tis a beauty. you thinking 85/85 pp? I will be using a weiand with the 85pp tb and have the mani ported to the heads and tb. when you do build your motor you can still use the pp mani and have it matched to your head. just my thinkin dad

Those aren't even in the same category. A vic jr is carbed! But I would get a ls6 no doubt.

I am in your same situation...just already have the LS6. I am waiting for the PP 96/96 combo to be available. When I talked to them last week, they said it should be ready in the next couple of months.

Go with the LS6. You need lots of volume to take advantage of the fast.

None of them are the optimal choice. But if you are hell bent on not getting a Fast, then I would probably recommend a LS6

Wrong. That cam is plenty big to take advantage of a 90/90 setup. Out of those 3 I would say LS6. You can pick one up for around $300 used.

LS6 will get you the best gain for the buck.
I only got an extra 10 HP (lost 7 tq) on my FAST 78. For $700 it doesn't seem worth it.
