Default kooks long tubes what gaskets???

im installing my new set of kooks and it came with kooks fuzzy paper gaskets? should i use what it came with or can i use stock gaskets?

don't use the paper gaskets. you can reuse your stock ones or get new stock one.

Those "fuzzy" gaskets are Percy's Carbon Seal's. They work great.

The paper ones that come with Pacesetters and others aren't worth a ****. OEM stockers or Percy's gaskets will do you up right.

sorry to jack the thread, but what about the bolts that come with the headers?

Just re-use the stock bolts. Use a wire brush to clean up any factory anti-seize that may still be on the threads and you'll be fine. I suppose the one that come with are OK, but it's not like they are Grade 8 or anything. I re-used the factory bolts with no problems.

I got some grade 8 bolts to use with my e-bay headers and theyw ere great. they were stainless like the headers, have a bigger head and are stronger

I used stock exhaust manifold gaskets and stage 8 header bolts.
