Default MTI intake question

I just put my carbon fiber mti lid on. It doesnt quite fit all the way over the MAFH like the stock one did. The reason being is that there is a bump on the MAF that doesnt let the new lid slide all the way on.
Is this okay because I dont feel any air leaking and there are no service engine lights on.
If someone could let me know i would appreciate it.

I have the clear lid and it always wants to pop off the filter for some reason.

I have the clear lid as well.. It wont go completley back on the MAF but its ok! Wont hurt anything no leaks.. And it use to pop off now and again but it kinda fixed itself. Your lid is fine!

i've only had my clear lid for a few weeks and it won't stop popping off the air filter but from what everyone has told me it does work itself out....doesn't fit the best but with no leaks, decent price, good looks i don't mind it!
