On the website it says $199 Free shipping and $179 Without Flowtech Race Ready. What is Flowtech Race Ready? What is the difference between getting 1 cutout or 2? More power? Louder?
Also, how do you know how much cable you will need when you order?

Flowtech race ready is the actuall ypipe the motor connects too, youll need that unless you already have a manual cutout.
If you have a flowtech cutout, and probley anyother cutout the electric motor will bolt up to it, and the wiring is real easy, just run it up through the gromet in the floor boards and connect the red wire to a 12volt source and ground the black wire. and it comes with directions

If your cutout is on the passenger side under the rear seat, there is a convenient rubber grommet that you can run the wire through, it will be about 8 inches from the center console, under the carpet if you go through the bottom. If you can fish it through, it's pretty easy to run the wire under the console to the ash tray, where most people have their switch.

I, myself ,will forgo the electric cutout and just use a stainless steel manual one. The electric ones don't seem to last very long. Cool gizmo while the last though.

It didn't respond well to hitting a curb at 40+mph, but that was the least of my concerns.

You could just run a peace of string from where the cutout will be up through the floorboards to the ashtray, and then measure it. but add some length to that cause you can always hide the extra wire.
but maybe someone else knows
