Default Quick catch can question..

Hey guys, im putting my catch can on tomarrow, but i took a look at it today. Whats with the little bracket near the PCV valve, that is connected to the block? Is it a ground or bracket? Can i take that off, because im worried the line is going to get pinched in the position its at now. thanks for any help.

I've always assumed it's a ground of some sort, due to it appearing to be a steel braided type cable...but I could be wrong...

I've always managed to get mine back on, but I know what you mean about it being a pain to keep the hoses from crimping. Mine isn't in the best position, but it works.

I think it's just to stabilize the PCV valve. Chunk that sucker and rock out.

what i did was flip mine around 180 degrees. that gave me just enough room to run the setup properly w/o worrying about crimping anything.
