Default Question on Painting Exhaust

I just recieved my TSP duals, before I install the system on the car I was wanting to paint it black for better appearance. My question is do I use high temp enamel like used to spray engine blocks or is there some other paint wich would better suited for the job? Thanks

I used duplicolor 1200* high heat ceramic paint to paint my duals.... 18 months later & it looks like I just sprayed it.....they also have different colors, I used the aluminum color.

I think any high temp paint weather its for headers or grills will worth, I think were ALOT of people screw up is when they dont do the proper prep work and give it enough time to dry.

The absolute best I've used is VHT Flameproof. You can get it at Autozone in a few different colors, but I did all my stuff in black. It dries in about 2 minutes, and gets even harder as it bakes on.

Engine paint doesn't have a high enough resistance to stand up to exhaust. The block should only be getting to around 220* if you think about it.
