Default Polished Kooks almost finished!

The driver side is basically done I just want to hit it with some white rouge to bring out that mirror shine and remove the haze. Im finished with the mothers billet polish tho I got everything the flange is even shiney just hard to tell in pics cause it has a rough texture.
Here is the white rouge ill be using

Not sure but I had jet hot coating b4 the sterling and it gets dull/dirty looking. Im sure I could always touch these up a little bit where u see them with some polish. Ive seen polished headers b4 after use they actually stayed pretty shiney they just turned colors.

I have my engine out right now for an engine swap, and my headers are kooks stainless but they have about 8k miles on them. Still in great shape, but they've turned a dark brownish color. Not rust, but they look kinda nasty. I was thinking about having them coated, but if it will last maybe I will try this. Yours look great btw!

No matter whether you coat them or what after you get some miles on them they will start to look nasty.

They look great but run the car for about 5 minutes they will turn a gold color at the top of the primaries which will eventually spread to the rest of the header. IMO that color stainless turns is beautiful but they wont stay looking almost chrome for long.

Yeh I get what your saying every1 just acts like its a waste of time but I think its worth it and will still look alot better then the raw steel look.

NO man --I didn't mean that at all--sorry if I gave that impression...-they will probably actually look better/shinier...after the polishing..

yeah those look ******* awesome, its just too bad they wont stay just like that. That scoobi or whatever it is still looks alot nicer than my kooks after a year, but its a far cry from what you have now.
