Default One Cut Two Cut

Got Pacesetter LT and ORY on the way, do I need/should go one or two cutouts? Recommendations on reliable cutouts?

DHM or QTP either one is great. put one after each header collector for the most performance and sound, or if you dont have the $$ for 2 put 1 at tje end of the Y pipe

It does sound good, sometimes better than others depending on the motor combo. IMO one cutout is plenty, you still retain some back pressure which is needed. With two cut outs directly behind the collectors, you will lose all back pressure and it will sound like open headers *yuck* Unless you have one badass motor you need backpressure. If you want to install two cut outs behind the collectors, I advise to take the Y-pipe off and crank the car, then drive it some....see how you like it first, but I'd bet you dont...

cause you got a cam. IMO the only way an LS1 sounds so good it makes me nut in my pants, is if its cammed. on a stock cam with 1 cut out in the i-pipe, it sounds like redneck truck.

Actually I would put 2 cutouts in but do it atleast 16" after the collector so you don't rune your O2 sensors

I had one cutout in the I-pipe for about 6 months and it was the best 35 bucks i ever spent.(manual cutout)

It didnt sound like a truck and people always asked me what kind of exhaust i had. They would be surprised when i tell them its just a cutout
