anyone using a pcv catchcan for oil consumption issues?

you know what i noticed, my 2 husky canisters, well, they never realyl fill up with oil.. there has been about 1/4 of an ounce of oil in there for a long time..

Is it working?

Are u losing any oil on the dipstick?

no.. i check my oil every time i get gas....

i've read stuff about that before. some people have postulated that the home depot catch can isnt designed to ever get more than like halfway filled due to its design. i noticed mine doing similar things. it would fill from 0 to 1/4 full pretty quickly, then from 1/4 to 1/2 much slower and never get above 1/2. i figured this doesnt mean my car isnt putting out less oil, just the catch can isn't doing its job. now i empty it whenever it's at 1/4 and it always continues to fill up after i've emptied it.
