these damn headers are going to give me a heart attack, bad enough I had to grind the k-member now you cant even put on the stock wire on 2 cylinder barely it is all over it, and 4 cylinder is right there.
let me guess the answer is to grind the header tube?
o wait buy new wires
i am going to rant real quick.
how the bleep can the drivers side fit perfectly on the car no grinding or nothing, all plugs are easy to put on, all wires fit perfectly just like stock plenty of room and then the passengers side is a total headache!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
oh man i feel better.
anyway install is done, that was my last rant i swear.
LS2 wires are on the list i guess

I have MSD wires so I guess I didn't think too much about this when I installed the QTP headers.
I think if you use the stock shields on the boots it should be ok, but the MSD's really do allow an extra bend in them. I thought it was pretty neat. Took all but 5 seconds to bend and have more than a decent size gap from the wire to the primary.

my cylinder 2 wire its real tight because of the angle, anyway I just threw it on there and called it done.
all I have to see is the performance numbers, because with out those it ill be worth it hopefully.

I have MSDs as well. No problems. I didn't have problems with stock or Taylor wires either nor did I have to grind anything. I guess some of us just are meant to suffer heheh.

yeah do you have the hvmc' ones?
either way they are on and I just done care anymore, lol
I suspect either something was wrong with my cylinder 2 tube in general, or thats the way they are.

I think one of mine touches, But the MSDs have like this little grey boot and I recently changed plugs to TR6 and you can tell it has a little brown mark but nothing bad, seems like it doesnt burn through it.

yeah going to leave it for a week or so once I get a y-pipe, and see what happens from there.
i would like to get another set of wires that are black at least. just dont want to have an arching problems or anything like that but I lines that area with aluminum foil then shoved on the metal shield.
