Default Tach signal

Just fired my 402 and I have no tach where does the signal came from or any other thoughts on it

99-02 LS1: tach wire is pin #10 on the red PCM connector.

yes its a 2000 but i'm wondering if there is something that would be causing the tach not to work no that I did a motor swap

don't think so since it comes straight off the PCM

do you have 3 connectors over your passenger side fender ?, 2 10 pin and 1 eight pin ?

It's probably also sending out a 4 cylinder signal. If your tach is aftermarket, is it set for that?
