Default ? About installing LT's and Y-pipe

I was wondering if I installed LT's and a Y pipe if it would push my tips further past my bumper..?? I remember reading a thread here a few weeks ago. The reason I'm asking is because I just bought some Corsa tips and I wanted to weld it to my GMMG C/B. Any info would be GREAT!!

No it shouldn't. Sometimes you may have to trim the I-pipe on the catback slightly in order to hook it up to the new ORY. Tip placement is done by the hangers, tailpipes(essentially the catback itself.)

I just barely put mine on, and it pushed my tips out about 1/2 inch to a 3/4 inch.

Mine moved quite a bit. A little bit out and a little over. I'll put it this way I had to go get my tips repositioned before I felt good about the looks again. I also did motor mounts to though so I have no doubt that that effected it also since they actually sit a little bit higher than stock.

Mine didnt move however it was pure luck to wiggle that Y pipe in without trimming the I pipe of the catback but its all good and sounds good.

That's weird that some of the other members had this problem and some didn't...Do you think I should weld these Corsa tips on anyway???
