Hi

It's fairly new so not alot of people have experience with it. I am thinking of the same combo. BBK claims it out flows the LS6. Of course there is always the debate over heat sink with aluminum. It should be a nice upgrade over the LS1 intake.

Just got mine installed a week ago. It'll be a couple of more weeks (at least) before I can get on the dyno.

Nice. It looks very close to you strut bar. Is it taller then the stock manifold? What does your right foot tell you? - More go?

I think it's a little taller than stock (I never really compared the height). I'm still 3/4 of an inch below the strut bar.
I hate to speculate on the gain but it certainly feels better up top. I'll know for sure in a couple of weeks.

I had our '99 Firehawk A4 dyno tuned right after a BBK intake, 80 mm throttle, GM 80mm MAF, and SLP lid install. It only made 301 HP at 5500. But the curve went ragged up top and fell quickly. Chuck at HPE specualted it was a crappy intake and should be shet canned for a FAST. I speculated it was the 110,000 mile stock springs floating and cutting off the top end gains. So we installed some LS6 springs and it pulls a lot better now up top. The sound at redline is more V8 like now also. I haven't been back on the dyno yet for any verified gains though. I don't think the BBK adds jack under 5000 due to the shorter runners and larger plenum but stands to post gains at higer engine speeds where I'm weak. The rest of my current combo is stock. No headers, cam, nada.
