Default just install headers

should i replace the u bolts with band clamps b/c i got a header to y pipe leak or weld it .what to do about y pipe hitting body very annoying .what would this set up run slp cai,knnfilter,mti lid ,slp maf,slp smooth bellow bbk tb ,bbk intake manifold,paceseter headers and off road y pipe ,magnaflow cat back,msd ignition wires and ngk plugs. the last time i ran was 8.51 in the 1/8 with all mods except headers y pipe and cat back what would i run now

have a exhaust shot weld it and they usually will fix it to where it wont hit

Default what mod should i install next

pully or dyno tune or a small torque converter or very very small shot nitrous very smalllike 50 shot or 75 the most any opinions

Isnt there a high temp type of sealant (like atv) that you could use between the connections then clamp it down to prevent leaks??????????

i would band clamp it, the u-bolt clamps suck, but welding makes it a bitch to come apart if you ever have to, and you probably will...

i wouldnt weld anything that would hafto be cut to take your exhausts off , i would also never use u bolts.. worthless imo. band clamp it and hopefully forget it.

I would also like to know if you can use some sort of atv between the parts???? Also can you get the band clamps @ a local parts store or do they have to be ordered??

i used some copper rtv before but there actually is no rtv that is supposed to work, according to the permatex guy that came to my school not too long ago...
