Default stock exhaust and cutouts??

i know that a full exhaust (headers and y down..) compliments an N/A combo, but wouldnt i receive the same benefits if i had an electric cutout with my stockheaders and y?

no your stock headers still dont flow and scavenge like LT's will...you will gain some but nothing like have a free flowing catback and some headers....

^^^^What he said. A good set of longtubes and a nice y pipe will greatly outflow the stock stuff.

i bought the car with flowmasters if that matters, but my question now is....you guys are saying a set of LT's with a y would out perform my stockers with a cut out?? can i put dual cutouts on my stock exhaust manifolds? wouldn't cutouts with LT's be pretty much the same as the cutouts with the stockers?

no. the LT's are freer flowing. you could keep your stock catback and get some LT's and just put the cutouts right after the collectors.
