I just bought two 3" super 44's yesterday. They'll be replacing the 2.5" original 40's on my truck after I finish dropping the 383 in. I'm hoping they sound as killer as people say they do. You can bet I'll get some sound clips up once it's done.

Im in the process of switching from the 50 series to Super 44's on my car. Sounds a lot better. Very deep sounding, more agressive.

LOL, I bet that chic has a big fat dip in her lip.

My new super 44's came in yesterday.....they're actually smaller than I thought they'd be.

I've got some dumped 3" super 40s on my cuda and they sound amazing! If they sound anything like these do, then you couldn't go wrong. However, I also have one chambers (10 series) on my LS1 and they sound great as well.

i was watching somthin on spike dont remember what show, but flowmaster dynoed an engine they had with stock type mufflers
and pipes...then used the super 44 mufflers and mandrel piping ...they gained 19hp this was a true dual setup too.....
they sounded like every other flowmaster to me really good....

Anyone know if you could fit one somewhere in the i-pipe area? What about a 10 series?

i think that would be quite restrictive. the last thing i'd want to do is put a chambered muffler like a flowmaster in an I-pipe. they work fantastic for true dual setups, but i wouldn't want to support 400+ horsepower through just one, especially a 2 chamber.

Does anyone remember when Flowmasters actually dynoed lower then other mufflers; is that still the case? I know they sound good, but back then that was all they were good for; hopefully it's changed.
