Default cherry bomb exhaust

Anyone here try the cat back or replacement muffler from them yet?
They were talked about briefly on one of those gear head shows over the weekend. Went to their web site to see if they had an audio clip of it.
None to be found. Just pics and part #'s for the Camaro/ Firebird .

I'm betting it will sound pretty similar to SLP's LM1 and LM2's it is just a bullet style muffler.

I was at the Hot rod power tour and they stated the vortex is their freest flowing muffler. the equivelant of a 4 in exhaust pipe. they also have a cherry bomb pro that is a direct replacement.

yeah, the cherry bomb version flowed up in the 80's, and the flowmaster, which they didn't reveal, flowed at 40-45. i think the numbers were flow in percentages. i need a little more rumble, and i thought about trying it out.

I am currently running true duals with no cats and the cherry bomb extreme mufflers. They look identical to the flowmaster single chamber mufflers, but only have one plate inside, so I think its a little louder. I am very happy with the sound, its deep and aggressive and not too loud cruising around, but very loud at wot.

Mine dont have the first bit of rasp. Actually I used to have glasspacks, and I threw in the chery bombs, and its a lot cleaner and deeper.

Thanks for the feedback so far.
So if I swapped out the stock muffler for a cherry bomb replacement, it'll be raspy? I'm also leaning towards a cut out and be done with it.

No you won't have rasp. The only way that is possible is if you don't have cats.

If its got glass its got rasp, my freind had some cherrybombs on his 96 350 chevy p/u. Still had cats.... still raspy as hell. I wouldnt put glass packed mufflers on anything unless you want rasp.. IMHO. But who knows, they may have fixed that... no sound clips on website is suspect though.

Cherry bombs are for trucks. I hear that phrase and I think redneck exhaust. Plus most of those glasspacks are like 24" long.

uh peel.. they arent talking about cherry bomb glasspacks.. they are talking about the mufflers they now make... and resemble a stock looking muffler.. like a SINGLE CHAMBER FLOWMASTER..

Exactly, Im talking about the cherry bomb mufflers. They are not glasspacks. Yes, cherry bomb makes glasspacks, but now they have a full line of actual mufflers, which are not raspy at all. I think they sound great.

We just put together an exhaust sustem on my friends truck using 2.5" extreme mufflers. 99 chevy k1500 5.7. The extreme mufflers are really well built and sound mean. Nice deep rumble and very aggressive under heavy throttle. Just like the 1 chamber flowmasters and cheaper too.
