best plugs and wires?
Did a search for these but still not decided. What do you guys think? I have a '99 SS, pretty much stock, just cheap mods.
Looking to swap out plugs for something that is reliable and awsome performance, as well as the plug wires, which are the best? I was thinking about getting the MSD 8.5's but I have heard that they have fit problems with the LS1's. Also heard that the bosche wires from autozone are an awsome fit. Help!
thanks!

NGK TR-55's and MSD wires here. The wires in particular seem to have been the cure for the (common) P0300 misfire code the Hotcam causes.

Re: best plugs and wires?
I really have not run the engine much since installing the MSD wires and the splitfire plugs...maybe 150 miles. I have been battling a misfire problem, so I did not run the car much. The engine is currently ripped apart, so I can install heads and a cam. I bought the splitfire plugs at Wal-Mart, mainly because they were cheap and from what I read they seem to be a quality plug. Basically price for performance cannot be beat in my opinion. After all the plugs should be changed every 30 to 40 thousand miles, so spending top dollar really seems useless to me. Of course this could all be different when using nitrous or boost.

I run the MSD's and Bousch Plugs.. I have no problems either. Splitfires are a waste.. NGK or Bousch is my recomendation, but this is one of those subjects that everyone has some personel preference and opinion...

1)NGK TR55 are a copper plug.
2)You can try one of the sponsors on the right for the wires.

The TR6's are copper.
