Default Lid questions?

I currently have the Whisper Motorsports lid and a buddy of mine was telling me that the lid from Texas Speed and Performance had a new better designed lid that dynoed 5-7rwhp over the ones that are currently available. I was wondering if this was true and if there are any graphs or pics that would verify this? If this is true, how were these gains obtained? What distincts theres from all others? Any clue is to how much they are? Anyone using this particular lid? Are there any drawbacks of this lid? What colors/materials are offered on this lid? Thanks

I bought a TSP carbon fiber lid to replace my Whisper lid but in all honesty, I didn't do it for the "claimed" performance gain. Looking at the much cleaner lines and design, I wouldn't doubt there's some performance gain to be had but 7 RWHP is a lot over another lid design. (I won't dispute nor agree with TSP's claim since I haven't dyno'ed one lid vs the other.) The fit was perfect and the quality is top notch.

The TSP lids come in black ($139), carbon fiber ($159), smoked ($149) and clear ($149).

The very first picture if you were scrolling down from the top, is that a black lid or a smoked lid? Whats the difference between the two? Thanks

I can see for myself that it has a smoother and better flowing design, but is it true thats it gained up to 5rwhp over the other lids? Has anyone heard this before. Were there any gains whatsoever with the better designed lid? Do you think its worth spending the money going from a Whisper lid to the TSP? Thanks

I know that Im done with the bolt-ons, but these newly designed lids could possibly change my mind about going back to messing with the external mods. I knew sooner or later that they were going to start redesigning and coming out with newer and better parts.
