Default mti clear lid

Just got my clear lid, came with no instuctions. Will be installing it tomorrow morning. Anyone have any advice/tips for me? Any do's and dont's?

Any tips on getting the lid into a good fit, without it cracking?

Also, how big of a hole do i have to drill into the lid to get that IAT sensor in?

Someone is telling me that my lid was supposed to be drilled (for the IAT sensor) and instructions were supposed to be in as well.. mine came with no instructions, and no hole....

The new MTI lids come with no hole for the IAT sensor, you need to do that your self.

Luckily when i bought mine in this January, i got the last batch that had the holes

Good Luck

ordered mine in February from MTI. Hole was there. Guess I got the last batch too. No problems love it. I did consider plugging it with a rubber plug from Home Depot, but I didn't and kept the sensor as is. good luck
