Default Took off my muffler what now?

OK like i said i took off my borla muffler and now oh my god it sounds so gooood. lol
But what kind of cheap dumped muffle can i put in its place. Just in case i get pulled over?

dynomax bullets are only about 25 dollars...heck even the series 10 flowmaster mufflers are only 35 dollars on ebay brand new...

johnson7454 I heard that those ones that u listed are good but does anyone know anything about the Glass Pack mufflers? How do those sound?

stay away from glasspacks unless you are driving a lowrider..........get a 10 series Flowmaster.

cheap Glasspacks are no good.. most of them are tiny 2" -2 1/4" cores so they would cause quite a restriction in a 3" exhaust. If you want a glasspack style muffler just be sure the core is the same size or larger than the inlet diameter.

glasspacks are going to give you a funny sound. It hard to explain it...just sounds wrong. I would go with a bullet muffler or the series 10 flowmaster. I really would like to hear someone with a 10 series.

1........uh.....dont chop your exhaust before you have something to put in its place.
2.....did you have a borlamouth setup?..if so go with a dynomax bullet
3.......**** a glass pack.......they sound like *******.....
4.......... a car without a muffler sounds like an ******* too........i thinkn you will be satisfied with a bullet

johnson7454 im goin to put in in the same place where i took the borla muffler off at.
o1ls1ssmaro yes i have a borla setup.
imslow i do not have true duals.

Ya im just goin to go with the bullet but where is the cheapest place to find one besides ebay?

glasspacks are for farm equipment and old mopars......

Sorry to hijack here but Im dying to know where you can get 10 series Flowmasters on ebay for anywhere near the 35 bucks that you stated.

i would go with a flowmaster =)
i think flowmasters have that "tingy" sound and i love it, really crisp sounding.

does a muffler really do anything but make sound? I was replacing my flowmaster with an edlebrock system and i had to start it up to see what it sounded like. I thought it sounded really good. I had thought about just going with out.
