Super Victor vs. Victor jr.
Has anyone done a comparison of the two? I did a search and there was plenty on the jr. and it seems the jr. doesnt flow as well as I expected so I would love to know how the Super Victor performs....

the super victor is only available for carbs right now, the fi version will not be out until late winter.
It is a Very tall manifold, with a straight shot into the runners and it will not fit under the stock cowl even with an elbow if i remember what i was told by the tech guy correctly it is a little more than 2" taller than than victor jr, or 2.5" taller than the gmpp manifold.
Looks like it should flow very well when port matched to the heads.

This is going im my 71 firebird so clearence will be OK. I'm also using the Holley Commander 950 like my other 4 cars. I've drilled out and installed my own bungs for fuel injection on the other cars so I can modify any LS1 instake if I need to.
Does anyone know of another intake that will work great that can be converted over to fuel injection?
BTW, I'm planning on changing the heads and cam too once I figure out which ones I'll need. This is a drag/street car with a TH400 with T-Brake that I'm wanting to run in the 10's. I havent started the project yet so I'm just trying to gather the right information.

ETP will be releasing a new manifold soon,
Check the Nitrous section, "Tuff" who the ET manifold. https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...light=manifold
Right now your only choices are the GMPP, Victor Jr, and Super Victor.
You have to know what heads you are going to use, Both Edelbrocks are for cathedral port heads, GMPP offers cathedral port, l92 and ls7.

Depends... I'd go with the GMPP if it were more of a street driven vehicle on a 400cid or smaller below 6500 RPM - Or - if you wanted to use L92s or LS7 heads (which would work on a 416+ motor).
If you use Cathedral port heads and go with a 402/408 or 416/427/440 and want to spin 7k+ the Super Victor will give you better top-end power than the GMPP or Vic Jr.
I'm not sure I'd really look at the Vic Jr. unless you wanted to turn 7500 or so on a smaller motor (364-383).
