Default what gears to get??????????

I have a 02 Collectors Trans Am and I need some help deciding which gears to go with. Last year had NRP here in Las Vegas did an upgrade on my engine which consisted on Patriot Heads, Cams and internals also got the tranny rebuilt and Converter the car is pretty fast but as you know the 323 gears on it dont help much so I was thinkin about 373's.
I also have a 125 shot NOs on it but want to make it more snappier when not on it...any suggestions on brands and things that I might need, cause I'm keeping the stock rear end.

with 3.23's i take it your an automatic?? I would get 3.73's if I were you, unless the car is a strict weekender and you dont mind running 2500rpms at 70mph then get 4.10's. The 4.10's are perfect if you have an M6 because of the great 6th gear ratio.

yea, if you were m6 i would go 4.10, but probably 3.90, or 3.73 is your best bet for the stalled auto. I would highly suggest the genuine gm gear over all otheres. It is made by AAM, and you can get the motive master install kit. The gm gear costs like 20 bucks more then motive, but fits great, i have no whine at all, and is very strong. You can get the gear with the install kit from Speedinc. Thes best thing about the gm gear, is most of the time you dont need to shim it at all. The tolearance is perfect for everyone i have done, which is amazing to me, because even the motive gear needs to be shimmed a little.

If you dont mind the higher rpms, or gas mileage go with a 3.90....

i was under the impression that you couldn't put a 3.90 into a 10-bolt? maybe he doesn't have a 10-bolt....i dunno! haha

if "snappier" is what you're after .. a decent stall will net you the most "snap" per $$
