2004 ls1 heads 241s, with 98 ls1 exhaust manifolds?
well, ive run into an issue i think, can my manifolds be mounted to he oval shaped 241 exhaust ports and just get the 2001 and up gaskets that are oval shaped instead of the 98 gaskets that are round?
or will i need to change my manifolds as well?

i dont want to put any money into the car, until next year when i get my new engine, its just my stock heads took a crap on me, and i was told they needed a valve job and thats to expensive, and buying some 241s to replace my stockers is alot cheaper, but i need to know which year gasket to get, the 241 heads have an oval shaped exhaust port, and the 98 manifolds have a round port, do i get the oval shapped gaskets or the round gaskets? thats my problem, which gasket do i need?

On my 98 the ports were the same on the head. just used the copper gaskets that came with the pacesetters. If you check with any of the vendors all the gaskets are the same that cme with each header kit.
