I heard that setup is one of the best sounding true duals out there, although I haven't heard it in person. I have TD's with magnapacks and love it.

I'm gonna guess it'll sound like any of the other true dual systems that have been posted on here that have Flowmaster 1-chambers. All you gotta do is look around...there have been tons of sound clips posted of that exact setup.

They sound bad ***. My car. Jet hot long tubes, 2.5" exhaust with an x pipe, one chambers dumped.

I just got two in yesterday from another member from LS1Tech. Paid $100, can't wait to get them on. I think you can get them from Jegs or Summit.

i have a buddy w/ td's w/ 1 chamber flows.........kind of sounded like a "toned glasspack" if you can imagine what that would sound like. personally i recommend the sweet thunders to the people that want a loud "flowmaster-ish" sound. my opinion..your car!

TD's with single chambers are by far the best sounding exhaust possible on our cars IMO. They're very unique, almost Mustang-like. No other muffler can produce a sound similar to them on an LS1 powered f-body.

Only thing I can recommend is if you go single chambers, make sure you get an H-pipe, NOT an X-pipe. The X-pipe completely kills the Flowmaster sound. The H-pipe makes all the difference in the world and sounds infinitely better than an X-pipe.

do they make any other sizes? My true duals were 3inch and so are 99% of the people who have true duals. Not a problem at all.

well believe it or not, there are other sizes... 2.5" seems pretty common also.

yup 2.5 is what alot of people have on here. If you do that you have to buy reducers. These are just 2 little pieces of pipe that start out 3 inch and reduce to 2.5 to fit on your TD's because your header collector is 3 inch. (Mind you, this is only for 2.5 inch setup) you can buy reducers off of summit or advanced auto parts. I bought mine at Advanced.
