Dual/Dual is very quiet. My SS came from the factory with it. Before the headers I could hardly hear the damn thing. After headers it is pretty much the same way. I have never heard my car from the outside when getting on it so I have no clue what it sounds like that way. Inside the car is extremely quiet. I almost don't like it but I do have a cutout for the loudness if I want.

Bait, you should have not used a LM1 resonator as the bullet. It was a very nice Y pipe that was fabbed up though.

Hooker is damn quiet, magnaflow is quite too.
Adding a 2nd muffler will make that exhaust sound bad *** and quiet it down a bunch.

I'm not sure the slp d/d will be quiet enough for you. Here's Patrick G's H/C with lt's,ory, dual/dual. Still pretty agressive. But it may be quieter than what you have now.

just out of curiousity why do you have to make it quieter? Just tired of how loud it is, or neighbors, etc?

i drive like grandma 3/4 of the time so windows up and loping around town with loud exhaust can get annoying.

I think dual/dual would fix your problem. It is quiet almost to the point you don't hear it inside but if you're standing behind the car it sounds good.

Default 2 in, 2 out choices?

As I see it, there could be several choices of connections. For example, in top L and R, or in top L and bottom R, or in top & bottom L, (out remaining 2 openings in each case). Anyone care to comment on what's the most free flowing, quiet, loud?
