Default Which One? ****Stainless Hooker or Jet-hot coated pacesetter's*****

Which ones should I go with. I have a chance to get the Hooker's (stainless, but apparently the cheap stainless) or get the Jet-hot coated pacesetters. Both are about the same in price. Which ones should I go with, anyone have any advice. I am wanting to buy before the end of this week, so post up.

Ony reason I am asking is because I have heard Hooker's stainless headers are made from cheap stainless steel. Has anyone had any problems with them?

I have just read some posts on them, but couldn't really find much as far as how they hold up.

I say stainless.. that's what my next set will be... I have the pacesetters that you speak of now and they work great and look good but they will eventually rust.. I've been under my car a lot and you can see condensation spots on the underside that drip from time to time and the rust color that comes from that... If you do go with pacesetter or non-stainless, I'd look into getting them coated inside as well as out..

Can anyone chime in on weather or not a 99 style hooker header will fit an 00 WS6. The headers have the EGR and im just gonna buy some block off plates for that. As far as I know they will work but If i was going to hook the emissions stuff up to them, I wouldn't be able to. I am deleting all of this anyways, so will these work. I might be buying them off a member on here and they are 99 style.

Oh God, if you're ever caught between the decision of something stainless and something aluminized, ALWAYS pick stainless. It doesn't matter what the Pacesetters are coated with, they will not last as long as the stainless. I'm willing to bet the Hookers will outperform, too. You get what you pay for, and Pacesetters are Made in Mexico. Nothing good ever came out of a Mexican factory that wasn't partially composed of alcohol

Hookers... Better header and its stainless. Stainless is better than aluminized steel anyday of the week... even if it is coated.
