To all the haters, Flowmaster is not all that bad and it is a great price and not all that bad.

Sorry to hear about your Flowmaster....I had the Magnaflow sysytem before getting my current B&B cat-back. You won't have any regrets with the Magnaflow, bang for the buck....one of the best.

$230 for maybe 10 hp??? Doesn't really make sense to me. But I have a flowmaster on my car and it sounds great and from the numbers I have seen it put down, doesn't hinder the flow.

Sound wise, Flowmaster is alright, although I do hear in higher HP applications it does restrict flow. But that is only vs other aftermarket catbacks, it actually turns out that the stock GM catback flows pretty decently and the Flowmaster flows very comparably to it but inferior to other aftermarket catbacks. In the end its all down to taste, do whatever you feel is right and go with it because its your car and your happiness is the most important factor.
