Default Dirty MAF or Bad 02's

Ok guys the car is a 1999 z28 m6, my problem is i popped the code that both my front 02s are bad. i was at wot when the code came up if that is at all important and i was reading that it may be a dirty maf but heres my reason for not thinking it is, my gas mileage is HORRIBLE even with 100% conservative driving i get about 160 miles to a full tank and when i first bought the car i was getting something around the 280 mark with mixed driving and ripping around. So basically i need opinions or personal expierence of what it might be. Thanks in advance guys i need all the help i can get before i drop the money on the 02's.

you could go out and buy a can of MAF cleaner. its like carb cleaner and spray that on the maf wires (gently)

possibly, cause it would be reading false air flow if its real dirty. wont hurt to try it, also do PM (preventitive maintence) replace the fuel filter, try throwing in injector cleaner into the fuel tank, air filter

see what the small things yield first
