I would use only the factory mls gaskets and nothing else. If all is well they should seal perfectly. Sounds kind of sketchy......

i went to auto zone and got a good set of felpro gaskets for like ten bucks and they work fine . i would stay away from using the original gaskets although i've heard of them working. the 10 dollar investment is well worth not having to go back in and replace that **** later.

The only reason to use more than a single gasket is a bad fitting header. The stock GM MLS gaskets should be fine. There are fitment issues is they are not. You should not need any gasket making goop/sealant.

Good Luck.

I think the header flange is probably warped on the driver side header he's trying to sell you. There is no other reason for what he's suggesting.

LS1 cars don't need RTV for header installs either. LT1 headers definitely benefit from it, but not our cars.

Get a good straight edge and place it across/on the head sealing surface of the header. Should be easy to see if its warped.

Stock gaskets and you'll be fine. I've used them on my 2 header installs and had no problems at all.

Its my understanding the rear O2's are the same as the front and are interchangeable as long as they work correctly (the sensor isn't faulty). I'm saving my rears in case my fronts go bad...

If the front ones reach the connectors then the rear ones should too.
