SeS Codes threw a SeS today so i ran up to my school and plugged in a code reader and these r what popped up.
p0704 Clutch switch input circuit malfunction
p0420 Catalyst efficiency below threshhold.
the catalyst i know is a failing cat, im not worried about that one. but whats up with the clutch code? what does this mean? is this the reason im having clutch issues?

p0704 is a type c code. It will not turn on the MIL (ses) light. So who knows how long it's been stored in the PCM. It is located on the upper portion of the clutch pedal bracket. The switch is depressed when the pedal is up. The actual name of the switch is "Clutch Anticipate Switch". It has nothing to do with the cluth itself. It's only an input signal to the PCM. ah i c, the SeS went away today. i just wanted to make sure it was nothing serious. i looked it up at school yesterday on alldata, and it told me to make sure wire is secure, or clean the switch for a fix. so i did so and no Ses, but the other code is gone too. thz for advice =)
