Wix filters are good. They are also the manufacturer of the NAPA Gold filters.

Yah, alot of us know about the sh!tty Fram filters. I read a lot about oil & filters on the "Bob is the oil guy" web site. There is great information there as well.

Wix is the best!

You will see very few big motor drag racers w/the Fram....have seen them destroy $20k motors from collapsing from the high flow pumps. Small price to pay for good insurance.

i only use wix on mine. the only thing i dont like is the wix tranny filters, they use cork instead of rubber gaskets. also, the regular ac delco filters are worse than the regular frams.

I used to run the K&N 2006 ... the Wix truck filter is cheaper and has tested out very well.

#51522 for the WIX or #1522 for the NAPA GOLD. I believe that both are the same, just a different sticker. I run the WIX with no problems
