Not to thread hijack, but I wonder how many guys have fried an alternator with a UD, and how many people run an OD on the alternator..???

Might be something for you to consider also..

I run the SLP pulley. It has a lip that I believe helps retain the belt. Mine has never come off. Plus the SPL is SFI approved, I'm not sure if the ASP is.

For what is it worth I just put an ASP on my car and I would not recommend it. Been throwing the belt off ever since and for 5 hp it is not worth that. Try the SLP with the raised lip.

SLP pulley here with plenty of revs to 6600 and no issues...also have Katech tensioner which helps keep the belt planted

I run the SLP pulley, and never had a problem with the belt come off. I still run the crappy stock tensioner as well.

I have SLP, just installed it. Its all steel, a VERY high lip for the walls so the belt wont be thrown. it does have a SFI # etched on it. Not sure if its a high enough rating to do some signifigant ET's.

VERY easy to install with proper tools, and no I didnt use the bolt lol.

I think either one will work. I also rememeber seeing someone get a pulley from Summit that is exactly the same and only ~$150 if money is an issue.

Here's the summit pulley. Just like the slp and powerdine pulleys.

ASP/stock tensioner/OD alt pulley. The only problem I had is removing it for cam installs. I rectified it quick though by taping out the bolt holes for a three bolt pully-puller to use with stock header bolts. Only time I've ever thrown a belt was on the dyno.
