Going by the amount of miles per tank is not a good way to compare mileage. What is your mpg before and after?

Where's the fun in that?

I'm averaging about 18mpg (A4, 3:23) with mostly in town driving with the mods in sig and untuned.

as far as i know my dad and i are the 3rd owners of this car. the mods i've noticed are the cat deletes, slp loudmouth and slp fan switch. i beleve the gears are the stock 2.73s. when we filled up the car i reset the trip gauge. i don't pay attention to the gauge as i'm driving but i do notice it on initial start up. as of now the gauge reads in the mid 200s while the gas guage is on E. do you guys think it has something to do with my parking since i live have to park on a hill.

With 2:73's you should be getting pretty good mileage (you need to figure your mpg rather than miles per tank to see if it really is low). I would do a tune up: new plugs, fuel filter, maybe O2's?.

i think every motors diff. untuned in my cammed ws6 i was getting 19-22mpg. My s10 with its ls1 is only getting about 200 per tank, which is like 13-14mpg. i would put money on it needing a tune up and possibly some computer tuning would help.

I have pacesetters on my A4 SS with 3.23's and i'm getting very shitty mileage, my Gas light comes on after I use about 195-215 miles. I haven't gotten it tuned but I do have an SES light on. My wallet hates me
