Default Be Cool Radiator with factory radiator cap?

Can i still use the original radiator cap on the be cool radiator?

It seems like the original cap is not allowing the be cool to flow right.

Anyone know if i need another cap?

I don't have a Be Cool radiator, but I do have a similar one. It did not come with a Rad cap.

I bought one of the new Mr. Gasket rad caps with the built in thermometer!

It is pretty Cool!

I just read on the factory cap and it said it is a 18 lb. closed system.

They don't make a mr. gasket with the thermometer but in a 16 and a 20 lb.

Which should i get?

I went with a 16 lb BeCool cap (the octagonal one). I think that's what they recommend for this particular application...or I could just be making that up.
