POLL -> My next mod should be? Help out here please!!
Looking to do another mod to my daily driver but not sure which to go with first.
Torque Converter, Headers or your suggestion??
Please feel free to suggest a stall & STR if a converter

Ya I agree.
I like the sound of headers with a converter Do em both. Hooker LT's and Yank4000!
As for the poll itself, so far its unanymous. Headers, stall, PCM tune.

Yank First!
I'm in the minority here, but I say go for the torque converter first.
You didn't specify if you were planning to go ORY or catted Y. IMO, I wouldn't do LTs until you know if you will like the sound of LTs/LM exhaust. I didn't, hence ridding myself of the lm1.
Opinions vary, but installing a Yank will keep your ability to "sneak" up on others rather than parading around town revving your pipes & wasting gas (Even though I still love to!). You will probably pick up a better ET with a TC than LTs, also. Just some food for thought.

i would put my vote for a stall converter, you did the lca's , relo's, suspension... got some nice wide tires, now get a decent stall so you can go ripping off the line like a friggin raped ape. i think you'll enjoy it more than headers...
as far as the size, i run a 4000 stall with 2.4str, and i love it.

Converter all day long. Felt like a whole different car with a 3500 stall. No more dead spots when downshifting, Shoots out from a dead stop like a rocket. Plus it will make your current exaust sound louder. The people that are saying headers have a M6 so they dont know the difference....night and day. Plus once you hook headers to that lm1 catback its going to sound like ***.

There are no negatives to installing headers aside from increased exhaust noise (which is a plus in my opinion ). Putting in a torque converter will make your car significantly less streetable because it'll cause your car to require a lot more throttle to move. Some people claim it doesn't bother them or "it's not that bad once you get used to it," and that may be so, but at $4/gal, a torque converter isn't the best choice for a daily driver IMO. Headers won't hurt your mpg (hell, it'll increase your mpg with a tune) and it'll actually increase your low end, whereas a torque converter will kill your low end throttle response unless you nail it.
A torque converter may show better gains at the track, but for a daily driver, headers are just a smarter mod IMO. There are sacrifices with a torque converter. Headers are all positive.

$4 a gallon sucks *** with a tq, especially DD a 4000.
I did my headers and converter at the same time. Its awsome I love it. If I had to pick between the 2 id say headers just because of the sound.

i voted headers, a torque converter in a DD that is too high can be a pain in the ***, i dont care all these gung ho people will tell you do it but when daily driving your car it can be a bitch, and what about a ported throttle body?

I'm gonna agree with Choco for the most part.
A high stall WILL strip you of a couple MPG, no doubt. It makes the car more enjoyable to drive on the strip and for roll races, but just putting around town it can get annoying. Now if you went for a 2800-3200 stall, it might be the perfect balance for a daily driver, I don't know personally, never had one that tight.
The only negatives with headers is that you will hate the loudmouth with them, and that you may lose ground clearance, depending on which ones you go with and how well the y-pipe is adjusted.
If you are more concerned about your mileage than quick ETs, go for the headers.
If you had a beater to use for a dd, I would say converter no doubt.
