Default Fast and Map sensor?

Okay, i know that the fast doesn't have very good quality when it comes to the map sensor location, and thats fine. I already bought the intake, and i plan on keeping it. My question is what is the best way to make sure the map is sealed up. I have the intake on the car and i think i have a vaccum leak from the map. I just used Rvt the first time i installed the intake, but I thought about using a rubber grommet in there try to make the hole smaller, i have heard of people taping the hole and putting a hose end in there and then use a rubber hose to the map. If anyone has suggestions or other ideas or have done either of these themself some guidance would be appreciated.

Teflon tape is definitely NOT the way to go.
I think I tracked down my stalling problems to a loose MAP last night.

I like DrkPhx's idea but I'd have to pull the thing, and that job sucks.

Also, I'm guessing there isn't a difference in the 90 Vs. the 92 in this regard.

Mine ran fine for the 1st season, this year it was wobbling all over the place. I think the teflon tape just broke down. It was pretty snug when I put it in the first time but I think gradually...

Lesson - do it right the first time...

..where have i heard that before?

Yes it's a FAST 90mm, but it's painted black. Post of a pic of the back of the 92mm version.

It's pretty far; about 35 miles northwest of the metro area. I work closer in town.

Isn't there an alternative MAP sensor that fits better?

Mine was working great for over a year, then started to hear a whistle as low map areas like idle and deceleration. With some throttle the whistle would go. So i tracked this down to be a loose map sensor on the fast intake. I took this off and used some tape to make the map sensor a little bigger and make it fit in the hole then used some sealant and plumbed it back in. I thought the job was done better than ever before, but not is starting to whistle again 2 months later.

If there is a map sensor that fits better I'll invest in one.

I used a piece of lock wire to hold the map sensor down tight. I used the bolts as tie down points.

Here's my FAST 92mm... I haven't installed it or tried fitting the MAP sensor, but it says "REVISION J2" on it. Sorry about the quality, camera phones suck.

Hope these help.

Here's what I put together..

Only took about 10 hours and 5 or 6 trips to HomeDepot and Menards.
I feel much better about that than just some RTV, but I had the old style FAST.
Fixed ONE of my idle issues.
