ok i want to be able to work on ls1 ls2.. ect where is a school i can go to??

Look into School of Automotive Machinists in Houston. I've heard nothing but good about it. I dunno if it's the type of stuff you wanna do though.

I would start in your living room, read rebuild books and articles, and get your hands dirty as often as you can.

I agree. I'm no mechanic at all but every time there is something on my car that needs to be done that i feel confident in doing i go for it. I also help my friends work on their cars. I even help work on mustangs

your driveway/garage is probably the best building block to learn how to work on ls1's or any engine, most automotive schools you have to have a certain level of understanding of cars to get accepted, atleast around my parts.
