slower after header install
i just installed a set of pacesetter race lt's no (egr) and a ory and it seems that my car is slower then what it was earlier in the day. what could be the problem. I got no check engine lights but havent really had the chance to drive it much the car is basicly stock except the lt's, ory, slp catback, slp lid and f.r.a.m. What could be wrong low end seems to be lacking most please help.

When I put mine on the 99, my air/fuel went to a dangerous 16:1. I found out later that when I bought the car it had a handheld tune put in it, along with a ported MAF threw the car for a loop. Be careful and get the car tuned, you won't see the optimal power out off the headers until you get a tune. Not saying your running that lean, but just giving ya a scenario.

Yes, it is normal. You lost some low end torque so it feels slower, but you should make more top end HP. A tune will gain you a little more of both.

Like orangeapeel said, power went up in the power band some. Your midrange and topend will be stronger. Lowend might feel slower but your probably making the same power as before.
