I already have the mods in my sig but will be adding a set of TSP stg 2.5 5.3l heads and a Ported fast 92 w/ LS2 TB. Will 30lb inj's be ok or will/should I go bigger? Thanks

I had 42s with the same heads, MS3 and FAST 90/90 and they were only at like 58% duty cycle @ WOT

rule of thumb seems to be not to really exceed 80% but there are 36#s.

Fast sells 36 lb. injectors and you can get them for $330. I believe they will act like 40 lb. injectors with the LS1 fuel pressure.

I'd say 30's would be pushing it. 36's should be a safe bet. 42's if you plan on major future upgrades.

I think 30's will be fine. 42 will work but you are going to have t tune for either. Ive seen several LS style motors with Ford SVO 30 put down right at 500 HP to the groung and be good to go.

I have SVO 30s and I'm about 81% duty cycle and I put down 445 RWHP a Y-pipe set up. 30s are fine for N/A. But you should go bigger if you EVER think you'll take the nitrous route later. Better off going bigger now than having to replace the 30s later down the road. I thought I would NEVER hit the nitrous, but now I'm on the fence. If you're SURE you won't get 30s, if you're not sure, go 42s IMO.

Try this: http://www.injector.com/injectorselection.php

I think 42# are good up to 500 RWHP on LS1.

I'd go 42#ers, they are good for more than 500 at the wheels for sure.

Are the SVO 30's a direct drop in? Will having 42lb injectors cause me to have shitty MPG over the SVO's, or do you just tune them to run the correct amount of fuel therefore thet are the same?

Yep, SVO 30s are a direct drop in. 42s won't have any negative effects towards gas mileage, only your right foot will. You WILL have to tune either one though. Do NOT run you car on the stock tune with either one of these injectors.

Just check with the sponsors to the right. They will get you a good price. Also keep your ear to the for sale section as these always come up for sale.
