Hard to put in reverse, Exhaust related??
Hey guys, im having a problem with my shifter, you know how theres a little notch that keeps you from going all the way over to the right before you go up into reverse? well mine is hard *** hell to move over but it goes into reverse fine! day before yesterday i installed my cam and everything was fine, next day pulled it out the garagein reverse just fine and took it on a lift and installed my qtp headers but didnt have enough time to do the y pipe before the lift rental place closed so i drove it home open headers(wow) and it backed out the lift fine. so i drove the car to my brothers to install the y pipe, drove it up on ramps and did the pipe and when i was finished was when i realized that i had to use both hands just to move the shifter all the way to the right to put it in reverse.
what gives? what could i have done with the exhaust to cause the shifter to be so hard to move over? i hope someone can help cause im clueless and im not even sure with section to post this in. the car is an 01 SS and it barely has 20k miles and it only started doing this yesterday after the y pipe install. someone give me suggestions please.

that makes sense i guess, i'll check it out tomorrow morning, but if i accidentally unplugged it or got it melted wouldnt it keep me from moving the shifter over at all or would it just be hard to do like mine is? anyone know which plug it is? or know were someone has a picture posted cause as i remember theres a crapload of connectors under there.

hell yeah, i checked out that fuse and it was indeed blown, i replaced it and now the shifter works perfect, took it for a drive to go get a haircut and it hasnt re-blown so im guessing the o2 harness is still good.
