How much louder without cats?

How much louder without cats?
I have TTS headers and Y-pipe with cats. Also a dual/dual for a muffler. How much louder will the exhaust be with the cats removed or gutted? Alot or hardly noticable? TIA

i second that. it will be incredibly louder. it is a good tone at idle and when you get on her, but when you decide to drive normal or have a quick rev at a red light you will have rasp. to each there own. maybe someone has a sound clip they could share.....any takers??

This depends on the rest of your exhaust system. I have no cats with the stock cat-back and QTP headers. I have not even the slightest hint of a rasp or drone. It's almost as quiet as stock.
But then again, on one of my Z cars I once had no cats with Mac headers and a B&B Tri-flo cat-back. The drone was dreadful. I pretty much fixed that problem with a bullet muffler in the Y-pipe. That cured about 85% of the drone.

Yeah I had almost no rasp with the cats on... with race pipes in place (FLP Headers) there is rasp at certain RPMs... but my cam is so much more prounced without the cats
Oh and I have a magnaflow exhaust, which is a good combo IMO cause it doesnt seem to rasp as bad as others I have heard

i have ARH headers and off road ypipe with a dual dual muffler welded in and let me tell you, its stock quiet. I honestly didn't think it be this quiet and the guys at the shop were surprised. Maybe because its just the stock 2.75 inch exhaust piping and bends with a muffler and not the whole dual dual. Im gonna need a ecutout if i want any sound.
