search FTRA or SSRA and you will probably find 100+ threads with all the info you need. Even Fast Toys website and installuniversity.com explain how they work.

SSRA.

They both work in the same way but the SSRA has a lower scoop that faces forward which in theory should push more air in and it has a gap to let any water drain out.

No. To paraphrase JRP "SEARCH ************!"

This topic has come up way too many times to warrant another thread about it.

they are 2 different mods!! one does not replace the other. both of them work together on the car, at the same time, doing two different jobs, in two different areas in the intake system.

FRA means cutting out the airbox under the air filter

FTRA is the scoop that sits below the airbox.

still dont understand how people get these two confused...

hahaha no.. no it doesnt

get either SSRA or FTRA.. they work the same. SSRA hangs lower and if you park close to a curb risk hitting it and tearing it off. FTRA is a little more stealthy.. not by much.

if your running a trans cooler do you think it has any effect on it? I would think less air would make it to the cooler to make it less effective
