Default Need to quiet my SLP LM1 setup.

I've got Mac headers, a catless y, and a Loudmouth 1 cat-back on my cam-only car. Needless to say it's horrible sounding. Ridiculously loud and overly raspy around 2500.

I have a Dynomax 3" bullet muffler laying around...If I have that welded in place of the resonator, will it tone the noise down a little bit.

(I drove this thing home from my shop last night and only got about half way before being pulled over.)

Magnamouth.

Although I can't recall the proper size muffler to shove in there.

I had the same problem and I went with Carsound high flow cats...it REALLY helped to get rid of the rasp. There is still some left, but it is a lot better than without the cats. I think it sounds fine the way it is, but I might add the Borla XR-1 just to give it a deeper tone.
