I think the original Loudmouth is louder, but IMO GMMG is the best sounding exhaust you can put on an F-body.

i would say lm1 is about the loudest you can get. its a lot cheaper than the gmmg but the gmmg is the shiznit!
you can almost get a lm1 and a set of long tubes for the same money depending on what you get vs the gmmg.

honestly i have a custom lm2 and it sound really good.
its a 3in pipe from the y them goes over the axle like the oem way and how the sideways muffler is suposed to be i have just the lm2 bullet type muffler there with a hidden tip and it sounds really good and deep with no rasp its light weight and i cant think of a different set up that would flow better. imo its one of the best flowing systems out there. ill try to post up a pic tomorrow.if you want a whole exhaust go with the lm2. ill have to see how it sounds with the
long tubes im ordering tonight .

gmmg sounds nice but is "quiet" in comparrison....loudmouth is loud and a little raspy even with stock manifolds..both are stainless and good quality systems...the GMMG really wakes up with longtubes and a CATTED Y pipe...if it were me i would go with the loudmouth and when you get headers you can convert the loudmouth to the proflo system that slp just put out..it looks very nice and is indeed something new in design to the ls1 community

what do u think about SLP LT's (new design), no cats and true-dual LM1 over-the-axle setup? setup is going on my new SS (weekend warrior). not my daily driver. how insanely loud will the car be on this setup?

^^ It will be really loud, but that's not the bad part IMO. The worst is I hate the sound of a LM1 with longtubes and no cats. Just terrible.

Save the muffler money and just run straight pipes. I doubt you'd ever notice a difference in sound level.

Both of those exhaust setups are very loud. I just took a GMMG setup off my car, it had a good sound at idle but with my Kooks LTs and no cats it was waay too raspy when driving. If you are looking to be loud though I like the GMMG sound over LM.

like the sound of gmmg it does sound healthier than my lm1 catback. gmmg with lt's and catted y would sound great. don't know about a h/c/i with ory how it would sound. like to hear more on it aswell.
