Question 03 zo6 ls6 intake about to buy..

ive seen in the archives a bunch of stuff on air/egr so i am a little worried, this shouldbe a direct fit correct? i am 99% stock in the engine, so it should bolt right up correct?? advice please and much appreciated, thanks....

The LS6 intake does not have egr so you will have to cap off the egr port on the header and remove your egr and leave the plug hanging, then get the egr codes turned off during tuning. The air has nothing to do with the intake it hooks to the exhaust/headers.

But basically yes it is a direct fit except the egr part.

You will have to either get the differant coolant tubes or do what I did and grind the fins down on the bottom of the intake

Just remove the egr and air if you can, the LS6 will not have the emissions fitting. Just take a hammer and chisel and tap off the fins on the bottom of the intake. Other than that, its a direct fit.

If you want to reconnect the EGR, they make a adapter for the LS6 Intake EGR's. It is a Lingenfelter Part number #LN0271
