Best for what? what are you aims? would you say best makes more power? or best as in reliable? What are your goals?
I'm sure both heads have great write ups. Okay this doesn't really help, but perhaps you need to clarify your question.

if you have the budget for AFR's, i would go the extra mile and get the Trick Flow heads.

you will have to run shaft rockers, which is the only downside. but from the results that we've seen, the TFS heads are one of THEE best performing heads.

Yeah anyone who tells you that Trick flows are the worst of the 3 is an idiot, and you should find someone new to work on your car.

well, how much do you wish to spend? is this a daily driver or strip only? the gang here needs to know. several sponsors here can help you. this probably wont help much but if you'd like a mag article on gen 3 head basics pm me a fax number. good luck, thanks. ps you may also learn something from reading the sticky at the top .

I have Dart heads on my 416, however out of the box the bowl work is a little rough, also the valve seats have quite deep cuts in them. So low vlave openings could be impaired? I have smoothed out the runners and cleaned up the..well..frankly erm..rushed? workmanship from the box, i am now happy with them.

Dart versus well ported LS6 heads.

TFS performance results.

BTW, the records for C5 Corvettes with a stick or an auto are both held by TFS 215 users.

I love my AFR heads, I dont think I would go with any other head. AFR, TFS and ETP are all really good heads.
