I believe this is the cam I am going to go with. Anyone have any expoerience with this cam? I was hoping it will make right around 400rwhp in my full bolt on stock head WS6. How do you guys think this will perform?

I am running a 228/234 114 with a little different lift on a FI set up. She is going in for tuning late next week. I will shot you some feed back and video links of the dyno pulls if you would like.

I've installed a little bit bigger cam than that in my 01 Ws6 m6, stock heads, through the stock mufflers. I'll get it tuned/dynoed in about 2 weeks & I'll let you konw how it goes!

not bad specs.. I'd expect 390s.. maybe low 400s with a good tuner.

looks like a mild cam. why the 112+2? i'd opt for a 110+0 if it would fit without ptv problems.

I am running a 228/232 110+2, but on a 62cc head.

Totally out of curiosity, why the large split duration cam specs (228/234)?

Not challenging your choice, just intrigued why you want to hold the exhaust valve open that long.

I know the GM ASA cam has a large split, but on a lower LSA, and does not hold the valves open as long.

Might check into some of the recent dyno threads where one of the sponsors tested numerous variations of cams..differing splits, etc.

With 7 degrees of overlap, you will definitely know you have a cam in there.

Best of luck in your choice.

Here's the dyno results and mod list with mine.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/dynamomet...tang-dyno.html

The best the car went was
11.71 @ 119.20 at us131 in MI.

I should have installed the cam @114 the car was bogging out of the hole.

Hope this helps

^ I was losing a lot out of the hole.

With 4.11 gear
Best 60' was 1.68 it would dead (5,200 rpm) hook pull the drivers side wheel then fall on its face.

Drag week 07' my class was to come as close to a 12.00 average over a five tracks in five days. Two tracks were rained out so we could only use the 3track average.

My average was 12.004.

Either I know how to drive or it must have been pure luck.

228/232 111 +4 here on XER lobes. Idles nicely and was pretty easy to tune I'm estimating around 450 to the wheels.
