Default TR 220 cam....

I have an 02 trans am m6 with mods listed below. i was looking to put a nice little cam in it for that extra edge over the local competition. i was looking at either Hot cam or the one i like the TR 220. 114.. this is an everday car, put it this way only had it 15 months already has 20,000 miles.. want a cam that wont need springs changed more frequently than others and goes good with my long tubes and takes a liking to th JUICE.. please help.. thanks ps. what kind of HP numbers should i expect to see with either cam. 10-20...

Yes you can. Out of those two I would pick the TR220, although you really should go bigger IMO.

I ran the TR220 untuned for almost a year. It made 380rwhp with headers and stock heads, later after adding PP 5.3 stage II heads and an ASP pulley, it made 416rwhp and 392rwtq STILL ON THE STOCK TUNE! The little cam is easy on springs and makes great power!

I think the TR220 cam would do you very well. You may think it is not a very aggressive cam, but look at the stock cam your pulling out of there:

Something around 200/208 .495"/.500" 117 LSA

A 220/220 .553"/.553" 114 LSA is a hell of a big increase when you look at the two side by side!
